As we continue to refine the MODERNBLONDE experience, we want your time with us to feel calm, intentional, and completely yours.

We know how full your lives are with work, family, and responsibilities, and we are truly grateful you choose to spend part of your day here.

Moving forward, your appointment can be whatever you need it to be that day. Whether you are in the mood to chat, quietly unwind, scroll, read, catch up on work, or fully zone out, there is no pressure or expectation either way.

To support this, you will notice a few thoughtful additions in our space, including a simple and discreet way to indicate your preferred appointment vibe, complimentary Wi Fi for those who wish to stay connected or work during their service, and optional headphones or earplugs for quiet relaxation.

There is no right way to enjoy your service, only what feels best for you.

SALON LOCATION UPDATE EFFECTIVE FEBRUARY 1

We are so excited to share that we have officially found our long term home.

January appointments will remain at SOLÈ, 73 Briscoe Street East.

Beginning February 1, all appointments will take place at Atelier Flo+Co, 123 Wortley Road, a space that perfectly reflects the calm, elevated experience we strive to provide.

PARKING & ARRIVAL

Street parking is available on Askin Street and nearby streets.

Please plan to arrive about 10 minutes early to allow time for parking and settling in.

Once you have arrived, please check in with front reception so we know you are here. If no one is at the desk, feel free to slip into a pair of sandals, make yourself comfortable, and we will be out to welcome you as soon as we are ready.

If you anticipate needing extra time or have any questions about the transition, we are always happy to help ahead of your appointment.

PRICING UPDATE EFFECTIVE FEBRUARY 1

As our businesses continue to grow and evolve, a pricing update will take effect on February 1.

This adjustment reflects the level of care, customization, time, and expertise that go into each appointment and allows MODERNBLONDE and THE GOLDEN HOUR to continue delivering a thoughtful, elevated experience for every client.

A loyal client pricing menu will remain in place for current, active clients as a thank you for your continued support. Public pricing will also be available and may differ. When viewing or booking appointments, public pricing may be displayed. This is completely normal and does not indicate that loyal client pricing has been removed.

All pricing is provided as a guideline. Final pricing may vary based on service timing, hair density, number of rows or extensions, customization, and product usage. We always take time at the beginning of your appointment to review the plan and investment together so everything feels clear and aligned.

Any future pricing updates will always be communicated in advance. Thank you for growing with us. We truly appreciate you.

HAIR PRICING UPDATE & ADVANCE PURCHASE OPTION

Historically, I have never offered promotions on discounts on hair. Hair pricing reflects the quality, sourcing, customization and preparation that goes into every pack.

Currently, a pack of hair is priced at $650+HST (20"/100g). With upcoming cost increases, hair pricing will be $700+HST per pack (20"/100g) effective February 1st. 

Until March 1st, clients may choose to secure a pack of hair at the current $600+hst (20"/100g) promotional rate. This option is available to those who would like to plan ahead or lock in hair prior to their next new install. 

• The cost of hair is paid upfront

• The hair does not need to be installed immediately

• We can plan the installation for a future appointment

• Availability is limited and based on current inventory and sourcing

If you are interested in securing hair at the promotional rate, please text me directly and we will coordinate timing and next steps accordingly.

PRE BOOKING REQUIREMENTS THROUGH APRIL 1

Due to limited availability and upcoming schedule shifts, pre booking through April 1 is very important. Appointments cannot be held without confirmation, and clients who do not pre book may experience limited availability during this time.

The easiest and most seamless way to pre book is by text message. Appointments are scheduled on a first come, first served basis, and relying solely on phone calls can sometimes lead to missed opportunities.

When reaching out to pre book, please include:

• How many weeks you prefer between move ups

• Where you would like to add or adjust color

• What you are envisioning for that color service

• Whether you are considering adding new hair 

​

You are always welcome to call if it is easier to talk things through. If we miss your call, a follow up text with your availability is appreciated.

For most clients, we recommend not self booking unless you feel fully confident. The booking app is best used for checking upcoming appointments, making changes, or booking independently when you know exactly what you need.

​

IMPORTANT BOOKING NOTE:

At your next appointment, you will be required to add a credit card on file. This is necessary to secure and lock in all future pre-booked appointments and allows us to continue offering a consistent, carefully scheduled experience for all clients.

​

 

NEW HAIR PLANNING & ADVANCE NOTICE

If you are considering adding new hair, we kindly ask that this be discussed at least 8 weeks in advance, with 10 weeks preferred for full sets or larger changes. This allows us the time needed for thoughtful planning, customization, and ordering.

Smaller enhancements may occasionally be possible depending on timing and flexibility. New sets or larger changes cannot be accommodated last minute.

QUOTES, DEPOSITS & APPOINTMENT SECURITY

All quotes are estimates and are confirmed before your appointment.

For services involving new hair, the cost of the hair is required upfront as a non refundable, non transferable deposit. This secures your appointment and allows us to place your custom order. Appointments remain tentative until the hair arrives, and the remaining balance is due on the day of installation. Final payment should not be submitted prior to that date.

If you choose not to proceed after hair has been ordered, the deposit remains allocated to the custom order and is not provided separately.

IMPORTANT COLOUR NOTICE

To ensure your custom extensions blend seamlessly, please avoid cutting or coloring your natural hair between consultation and installation. If a color service is needed before your install, we are happy to guide you. Just reach out ahead of time.

Any changes made after consultation may result in a mismatch, requiring a new hair order and forfeiture of the original deposit.

SALONSCALE

We are a SalonScale salon. This system tracks exact color usage down to the gram, helping ensure transparent pricing and beautifully consistent results. A SalonScale charge is added to your total at the end of each appointment.

​

 

CANCELLATIONS, LATE ARRIVALS & NO SHOWS

We kindly ask for your understanding around scheduling, as appointment time is reserved exclusively for you.

Changes or cancellations within 48 hours result in a 50 percent cancellation fee.

Hair deposits remain non refundable and are not applied toward cancellation fees.

Outstanding fees must be cleared before future appointments can be booked.

Arrivals more than 15 minutes late may result in cancellation.

No call or no show appointments are charged 100 percent of the scheduled service and may affect future booking availability.

If you are feeling unwell, please reschedule. Clients arriving sick will be asked to rebook.

All services, deposits, and fees are final and non refundable.

MAINTENANCE & CARE GUIDELINES

Please review and follow all pre install, move up, and weft care maintenance guidelines prior to your appointment. Proper care helps protect the longevity of your extensions and ensures the best possible results.

Relaunching treatments include Nanoplastia and Hair Botox.

A 10 percent promotional rate is available for Nanoplastia and Hair Botox when booked before April 1.

Beginning in March, a limited number of model opportunities will be available to support new service launches.

NEW CLIENT AVAILABILITY & REFERRALS

A limited number of new clients will be welcomed starting March 1. Availability is limited, and not all inquiries can be accommodated.

If you refer someone who purchases a full set of hair, you will receive a referral bonus as a heartfelt thank you. Details are shared at the time of booking.
