As we head into the second half of the year, we want to make sure you’re booked in advance—especially during the busy holiday season.

A QUICK UPDATE

 

The Not-So-Great News:

We’re switching salon booking systems (again). We know this can be a little frustrating, and we truly appreciate your patience. That said, the new platform should resolve many of the issues we experienced with the last system.

 

The Good News:

• The new system will look and feel very familiar

• Transparent pricing breakdowns

• Seamless access to bookings, invoices, and deposits—all in one place

• Self-book colour appointments with both Nichole and Rebecca

• Exciting new features coming soon to enhance your experience

IMPORTANT NOTE

Our current booking system will be disabled for booking, changing, or cancelling appointments. FRESHA will be disabled the day you get your second text from us. Our VAGARO app will be active for cancelling and rescheduling effective immediately at that point. Please reach out directly if you need help to avoid penalties.

- You will receive 1 text from us stating the changes​

- You will receive 1 text from us letting you know we have actively saved your appointments in the system

- Any notifications received on VAGARAO about future booking appointments are not offical until you hear from us confirming your spots. At that time you can let us know if we need to bump anything around

HOW TO MANAGE YOUR APPOINTMENTS

To stay up to date with your bookings, changes, and notifications, please download the VAGARO App.

• You may receive booking notifications as we begin scheduling, but these are not official until you hear directly from us

• Once your schedule is finalized, you’ll receive one confirmation text listing your appointments

• Please confirm within 24 hours to secure your spot

• Unconfirmed appointments will be cancelled

• Online booking will be temporarily disabled until pre-booking is complete

PLEASE REVIEW OUR CANCELLATION, RESCHEDULE, NO-SHOW,

LATE ARRIVAL & REFUND POLICY ​​​​​​​​​​​​​

PREBOOKING ENCOURAGED

To secure your preferred times, we highly recommend pre-booking through October 1, 2025. We understand it’s not always easy to plan ahead, but it helps reduce scheduling conflicts later.

 

At minimum, try to book:

• Your next 2 move-ups

• 1 colour appointment

 

If you’re unable to attend a pre-booked appointment, we’ll do our best to reschedule. If that’s not possible, we’re happy to refer you to another trusted stylist.

LOOKING TO BOOK PAST OCTOBER 1, 2025?

You can book through February 2026!

• If you choose to pre-save appointments now, a $50 non-refundable deposit per appointment is required

• If you wait until the August/September booking release, no deposit is needed—just confirm with the card on file

IF YOU REMOVE YOUR EXTENSIONS?

If you remove your extensions or haven’t been in for 8+ weeks, a $50 non-refundable deposit will be required to hold future move-up appointments. These appointments will be final and cannot be rescheduled or cancelled.

WHEN DO YOU WANT TO ADD IN NEW HAIR?​

Let us know 10 weeks in advance if you plan to add new hair, so we have ample time to order and prepare for your transformation. We may possibly have your desired hair in stock last minute but never a guarantee.

  • New full set

  • Adding in 2–3 new wefts every 2nd to 3rd move-up to maintain thickness, brightness & length

NEW HAIR - DEPOSIT UPDATE

 

Effective immediately, we will be collecting the cost of hair upfront as part of your deposit. A non-refundable, non-transferable deposit is required to secure your appointment and place your custom hair order.

RECOMMENDED COLOUR ROUTINE​

To optimize your schedule and maintain your hair’s best condition, we suggest the following routine:

  • Full + New set of hair (New Install)

  • Reverse, Tone, or Extension Refresh + Add a 2–3 new wefts (2nd or 3rd move-up)

  • Partial Color (2nd move-up) + Add a 2–3 new wefts

  • Reverse, Tone, or Extension Refresh + Add a 2–3 new wefts (2nd or 3rd move-up)

  • Repeat – Add new set or continue to add a 2–3 new wefts

 

This schedule will vary based on your color type, maintenance level, and the number of weeks between move-ups. Not sure what works best for you? Select unsure and we will help you out.

WHEN SHOULD WE BOOK A REFRESH COLOUR ON YOUR EXTENSIONS ONLY?​

Are you finding the roots of your extensions are showing because they’ve lightened up or the ends of your hair has a wonky orange colour?

 

You may only need an extension refresh vs colouring your whole head (saving money and integrity of natural hair)
